A good writing group offers encouragement and constructive suggestions so members can grow as writers and improve their craft.

Catholic Writers Guild
If you join only one group, this is the one I recommend. I’m a member myself and continue to enjoy the many benefits.

This group offers events and classes related to Catholic literary arts.
Fiat Self-Publishing Academy
This academy teaches authors how to publish good, true, and beautiful books through the lens of the Catholic faith. Membership includes access to an online community.
Catholic Writers of St. Louis
A community of published and aspiring authors in the St. Louis area.
College of the Holy Cross Writer’s Workshop
Students meet with trained peer consultants for individual 45-minute appointments.
St. Charles Catholic High School Creative Writing Club
Let’s not forget all the teen writers! Here’s a group just for these young, budding writers. Members of the club meet in person and virtually.

An epic writing community for Catholics and Christians who love faith and fiction. High school students through adults are welcome!
